Icon5 LSD?

I was looking at a OBX Helical LSD on Ebay for $400 and I was wondering if I would need any other transmission upgrades for the part to work properly on a stock trannsmission or if it is not worth the money. And would it make a big difference in traction and steering as it says? What's your opinion?

Re: LSD?

i would stay away from the obx ebay brand. if you really want a quality LSD than go with the Quaife. more than double the price, but well worth it in the end.

$950

yea me... lol. its all about the install if you know a shop that is familiar w/ the obx then do it. obx is not as popular of a name as quaife/kaaz etc.
the obx is a helical limited slip that is identical to the kaaz limited slip setup. sometimes you just pay more for the name. hope this helps you out.

Re: LSD?

I had a boy with an H22 swap in his EK and he ran an OBX LSD with no problems at all. Said he felt a huge difference in handling and acceleration.

Re: LSD?

Personally, If I was going to spend the money on a LSD I'd go with Quaife. I hear a lot a lot a lot of good about their LSD. Especially when half the honda drag cars out there use them, if not more.

OBX i've heard very little about so I can't say either way. But if its bustr approved it cant be that bad

Re: LSD?

Alright. I'm probably gonna have to step it up and buy a quaife LSD then if it is the best on the market.
