Re: New stuff in engine (help maybe)

this just recently happen to me... my stock power line took a crap.. all of my aftermarket deck wires went strait to the stock lines, minus the speaker wires.. but yeah

check if you can still give it power from a different source if so.. just make your own power line and hook it up to the kick fuse box

Re: New stuff in engine (help maybe)

So from what I can tell the red wire is un hooked correct? If so, it should have never worked and if so that is mind boggeling. Hook that up to switched power. Looks like you don't have a harness adaptor so I believe white/blue wire ?? Maybe. There's wire color info on here somewhere.

No the red wire turns on the deck. The blue turns on an amplifier. It gives out power

Should be yellow.
Constant = yellow
variable = red

Re: New stuff in engine (help maybe)

You need switched power - red and constant power - yellow and ground - black for the radio to turn on. Not just one or the other. Both need to have 12v and there needs to be a good ground.
