Taking out headlight bulbs

hey guys,

wanting to change my headlight bulbs from yellow to blue, just had a look at the headlight and am not too sure on how to remove the bulbs so I can take them in to get a match for the blue bulbs.

some guidence would be greatly appreciated, pics even more appreciated.

Re: Taking out headlight bulbs

i know it's kind of hard to see what your doing but here's a pic of the back of my headlight:

the clips can be a little stiff but just push it in a little and twist it to the left and it should pop straight out

Re: Taking out headlight bulbs

is it a twist? I thought it was a spring loaded clip that pressure fits the bulbs in place. Also keep in mind the low beam is the bulb on top and high beam is the lower one. ( I got confused once before I realized that )

Re: Taking out headlight bulbs

There's no twisting involved... unless you want to break something.

I've been around, I'm surprised anyone noticed I was gone, hahaha!

Anyways as far as my Lude goes, since I last posted I went through a period of really considering getting rid of it, because there was just a bunch wrong with it.
1. Timing belt went bad, and completely detached itself inside the engine. Had to be replaced.
2. Hydraulic tensioner(s) went bad. Had to be replaced.
3. Oil drain plug head was stripped. Had to be drilled out.
4. Rear brakes grinded like a mofo. Rotors/Pads had to be replaced.
5. Both sides of right headlight got dented. Still needs to be fixed.
6. Small oil leaks at random places in engine. It's a Prelude.

I weighed the benefits and came up with two choices: 1) Sell her and get a newer car without problems. 2) Keep her, and deal with the problems.
In the end, I decided to go with number two, because even if the newer car had no problems at all, it wouldn't be a Lude, and that just isn't nearly as fun as a messed up Prelude!

BTW the other light in the headlights is the daytime running light/ foglight.
