What to do, what to do?

Okay so I got the jdm bumper and fenders.
Bumper is red, fenders are white... My car.... Black.

Debating if I should put it all on so when I come to the tri state ill have a funny looking car. or just leave it all off until I can save up to get a full paint job done.

OR!

My other option is to just put on the bumper for now.
Do also have the type S lip, but that is white lol

Re: What to do, what to do?

It's up to you. We prelude owners don't flame on different color cars. We know that there is an end result coming.

Re: What to do, what to do?

I would wait. You want the things on so that it looks cool right? It's not going to look cool when your car has three different colors on it (unless it is a paint job that's made to have 3 different colors.) Plus, if you scratch it somehow, won't it just create some little problem you have to deal with before you have it painted?

well....to me if i see a car that has differant color body panels or primer pieces i give the guy props for fixing it or making it better....or i realize its a project car that will have a better outcome.....

and if the pieces need to be painted black anywayz, way the hell would scatching the old paint now make any differance....u got to prime/sand/then paint it nomatter how u look at it

black primered JDM fenders FTW

X2 if you get a glossy black trim paint and just do a good sand and primer under it and throw it on would look better then all different colors and from far way it look nice in pics.

Re: What to do, what to do?

Either or IMO!!! If you put it on and have diff colors that we'd understand that you have work in progress, but on the other hand I would wait bc it would bug me to see sooooo many colors on my car!!! :haha:

40% for putting the new parts on.
60% for leaving it stock and keeping the parts at home til the paint job is done.

I'd actually wait till paint. Of course then again, I am the kind of guy that likes the anticipation.
