tire shakes funny

ok, I was replacing the brake pads on the front driver's side wheel when i noticed after changing them out and putting the tire back on that the wheel when grabbed from the left and right moves slightly left and right, but not top to bottom.
I need help what I need to fix this problem.

Thanks.

ok, so I need to get a new tie rod or guy new bushings?
...Also, I see on auto zone I need special tools like a TIE-ROD END SEPARATOR, TIE-ROD END PULLER, AND A 2 IN 1 TIE-ROD END TOOL. will I need to buy all these tools?

Re: tire shakes funny

idk why you would need all that. just a few wrenches and a hammer is all I have ever had to use. Even at the honda dealership I worked at thats all we used lol.

you will just need a new tie rod end... and then an alignment.

Re: tire shakes funny

there are inner and outer tie rods, you should just replace both of them ...you can rent those tools from advanced auto and get all your money back when you are done. IMO those tools make the job go a lot faster and easier.
