HID JDM fogs?

How would I go about this?

Would I need to do anything to the lamp or is it a straight plug and play?

Thanks in advance guys

I have no clue man. I have a friend who does it. maybe after I watch him. I'll find out.

You could Google it & 9/10 find the answer too.... Hmm I should do that.

3000k are pretty yellow. The higher the temp the higher up the colour scale the light colour is. 4500k is almost white, 6000 is like blue

It's jus straight up Plug n Play!!!

I originally had the H3C bulbs in my JDm fogs and wasnt satified with the outcome of it. I also have yellow Lamin-X slapped on the fogs. But even with that said and done it wasnt to my liking so then I got 3000K HID and pulled out the H3C bulbs and connected the plugs to the HID kit and *BAM...what you see in my sig is what you get for having 3000K HID kit installed to my JDM fogs with Lamin-X on it!!!

JDM fogs with yellow Lamin-X...$60
JDM fogs with 3000K HID kit.....$100
JDM fogs with yellow Lamin-X and 3000K HID kit...Motha PRICELESS!!!

Yea I have the Piaa Ion Plasma Yellow and it looks good 6ft out in front on the street, but it's more white further away.

Does the laminex take away from the birghtness?

NOPE!!! It's a clear yellow and having the 3000K yellow HID with it makes it really close to that golden yellow look on the road!!! I use only my fogs when driving around NJ to go snowboarding bc it lights up the whole floor in front of me and my 6000K HID in my headlights become useless bc white lighting on white snow is FTL!!! :haha:

I'll try to take pics tonight and post them up to let you see a better look at it.

Did you ever consider upgrading to 3000K HID instead of the H3 bulbs?!?!

Upgrading to that is sexy as hell!!!

That's what they are. I wrote a how-to on preludepower
instead of being H3c they are H3 bulbs.
I'll post the link again

my friend is going to test drive it in a couple hours. what do you guys think? the guy that posted it seems like a dumbass (grammar-wise)...but the car looks like it might be pretty decent...any words of advice to send his way? he's looking for a lude, so a new PZ member in the near future.

PLEASE PM ME YOUR COMMENTS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO CLOG UP THIS THREAD WITH COMMENTS THAT AREN'T ABOUT EBAY/CRAIGSLIST FINDS!

Re: HID JDM fogs?

I'd test drive it if I were you along with another local Luder to confirm that it's good and not some scam. Bc he's selling it bc he has another Prelude and it jus seems a lil fishy to me IMO. But you can't tell til you test drive it. So give it a shot and see what's up!!!

G-luck on the "future" Lude!!!

Re: HID JDM fogs?

if it flickers or flash .. 1) you should try checking your connections.. make sure that they are intact ..sometime even though they are connected they might come out loose when you hide the wires after your done 2) if not switch one bulb to the other side .. sometime they might send out non working product ( happened to me before ) 3) i might be the ballast .. but the thing that cause it the most is the connections .. so give that a try first ,, hope that helps !
