steering squeak...(not belt related)

steering squeak...(not belt related)

I turn the wheel all the way to the left...squeak ( like a rusty spring) ...i turn it all the way to the right...again the's -25 degrees outside...i drive it for a while...and come back in again ..the squeak is there but hardly audible...

both lower ball joints changed 8 months ago, drive side CV shaft changed as well as all the belts...

what could possibly be the problem?wheels are obviously not aligned...have to find the source and then do the final alignment...

Re: steering squeak...(not belt related)

I had a squeak for a while, but I found out it was just the back of my steering wheel touching the steering wheel column.

It might just be a temperature expansion thing.
