Struts N BuTTS

Looking around for a front and rear strut tower bar.......and not some ****ty kind that is not even made by any type of company(like most ebay ones). Looking for a DC, Vibrant or megen racing, or any other well known good quality brand. Anyone know of any good sites or finds just let me know!

Oh and i did look and try to find other STRUT threads but could not.....

Re: Struts N BuTTS

I really like Neuspeed for the upper front, for the others go with tanabe. The Neuspeed won't work if you get Tein coilovers though, fyi.

These guys make good quality stuff that's beyond ordinary like the company's you're talking about. Check out their front 3 point bar for the 5th gen too, it's pretty cool.

They will also do different colors for an extra fee, but if it's what sets your ride apart, and is functional, I'd do it.

Until Tim answers, his is anodized red. And the only reason I could think he'd be taking it off is to go back to stock.

Re: Struts N BuTTS

I don't really know much about upper strut bars since NONE of them fit on my car b/c of the sc but I would go with the DC's.

once you hack out the carpeting in the trunk you'll see where the struts mount to the frame. i haven't used a tie bar yet so i don't know if it suwoops in an upward fashion to clear the 200lb boom box.

the rear UPPER strut goes on just like the front UPPER strut tower. But for mine i am cutting little holes in my trunks interior.

Re: Struts N BuTTS

Because you're buying the name.

I recommend Neuspeed or ESP. They're both one solid structure and don't have the flex in them of those others.
