my 97 lude

hey everyone im new to the site and i thought i would post a picture of my prelude. I have put quite a bit of money into it but its winter again and its time again for upgrades. so far the car has skunk2 pro series cam shafts, port polished, JDM header AEM CAI,JUN HC pistons 11:1( i think). Exterior mods are self explanatory besides tein suspension and the greddy TI-C exhaust and for interior a short shifter and auto meter gauges. This winter ive got a few plans for the car. I think endless makes a brake kit for the car. Cross drilled rotors, BLOX 70 mm throttle body, OBX blue silicon hoses, Blue valve cover, oil catch tank, new header and some interior mods. Im hoping to get the rims powder coated gun metal grey. overall the car "should" turn out great. Any comments are appreciated from you guys and gals i would love to hear from the PZ experts!!

Re: my 97 lude

Gold, Blue, Gunmetal, green and cf...

I would say keep the valve color gold, if you are buying the blue one, sure, but paint it gold then. Blue silicon hoses. Okay well if you are going the blue root, then paint the CIA blue to match the other blue.
Rims, gold.
if you go blue under the hood, then stick with the gunmetal to somewhat go with the CF.

my post is all over the place, but what im getting at is, try not to have so many colors that it becomes a rainbow.

other then that I like the lude.

Re: my 97 lude

Thanks for the comments, and to answer you MyFirstLude i was plannign on painting the CAI blue as well and the rims were going to be painted gun metal to kind of keep th car dark. Thats another reason why im looking into Endless brakes(they're blue). but anyways thanks guys.

That thing is lovely...and sounds like it's a beast. It looks pretty slammed. A great recipe for a Prelude in my book.

Re: my 97 lude

I love the gold. It looks awesome. Personally I like the white rims with a darker car. It kind of balances it out. What kind of rims are those?

You wouldn't happen to have a qtr mile time or a dyno slip with some numbers would you?

Re: my 97 lude

We don't have a dyno where i live:( and for a quarter mile im not really sure the owner before me was running 14.7's(according to him) when i bought the car it had the CAI and exhaust so who knows. haha the rims i think are kaiser if thats how you spell it they are k-5. I would check but the car is in storage until march. ( i don't drive it in the winter, thats what my shi**y Mazda B2200 is for) haha

Damn. I wish I could garage my car in the winter. -50* weather wreaks havoc on cars.
