what the difference between 97 engines

now i searched for this question but could not find an answer what is the difference between the engines there both 2.2 i4 but one is 190hp and the other is 195hp are the both h22? because i am looking at buying a a 97 prelude but i only has one exhaust tip what up with that?

From what I understand the 190hp is an automatic, and the 195 is a manual.

Wrong. ^^

The later engines (99+) have an extra few hp, but there is no physical difference. Nobody really knows where the extra power comes from, since every part has the same part number.

The weight doesn't change the actual HP rating.
