Re: chains

I know there's a brand of chain that's ****ing expensive as hell, but they've got little retractors on them, so you just slap them on, flip a switch, and they zip together and tighten in like two seconds, I'd go with those.

There's nothing worse than ****ing with chains in the cold.
They're like 80 bux a set usually, at pep boys.

Re: chains

Dude. I can fit a 6'6" surfboard in my fifth gen. I'm sure you can just drop the back seats and fit it inside.

Re: chains

I say park the Lude for the winter, and get yourself a beater truck. The last thing I would want to do is raise and lower a car because of snow. And if you did need a roof rack, I would go with Thule or Yakima. I used to have the Yakima on my Thunderbird, that was back in the day, and I loved it.

But then again, you have a fold down rear seat, and I know for a fact that if I can fit an old school Dyno Slammer (flatland freestyle bike) in there, a snowboard is not a problem.

Good luck though.

Later !!!
