Spoon

Ok, so im fed up with my exhaust. It sounds ugly.
I really like how Spoon sound on cars.
I couldn't find any kind of pro/cons on spoon.
So my question is....
Should i go with spoon?
If i dont go with spoon, i might go with a flowmaster.

Re: Spoon

I'm not much help when it comes to Spoon, but Flowmaster will be obnoxiously loud.

You might want to check out the RS*R ExMag catback. It adds a nice growl without being overkill.

Re: Spoon

Well,
1) i hate ricey sounding exhausts.
2) i like how flowmasters sound on imports.
Hmmm
for the price it seems flowmaster would be the way to go...
My friend with a 88' Celica got a magnaflow put on and it sounds really good.
Hmmmmmm

Re: Spoon

Exhaust is really a preference thing. I LOVED the flowmaster 40 series I had....on my 74 chevy short box 2wd! I had dual 40s with an x-pipe and it sounded great. I would never put a flowmaster on the lude. They should stick to v8s. Check out some clips on youtube. Greddy seems to be the most popular. Spoon is a pretty rare occurance might be kinda unique. Personally I like stock.

Re: Spoon

Well my car is pretty low. You can see how low it is in my pics.
.:Conflict's 98:.
I like how magnaflows sit and sound.
Cheap and it doesn't really make sense to spend over $500
for a muffler when it doesn't really do **** performance wise.

Re: Spoon

I have spoon on mine and it's not pleasant at all bud. Not one bit. Only good thing about it is that the car is virtually silent at idle, but once you go its a like hornets in a coffee can.

I'm switchin over to the WS2. Silence is golden. :)

Re: Spoon

Evo2 is not loud. I refuse to spend anything over $300 for any exhaust. I don't care if it plays with ur ball sack....
I'm all about ghetto, and DIY....but I don't have a welder. :(

Re: Spoon

i think that stock or just a regular muffler gets the job done. throw an intake on and then you will have some growl. exhausts just attract cops!
but if i were to get one ide get the EVO2.

Re: Spoon

I'm thinkin about just throwing the stock exhaust on just with a after market header.

Hmm. Is it possibly to get 2.5" piping with the stock muffler?
