5th gen tranny swap! need answer fast!!!!

Hey guys im at the shop doing my tranny swap were about to put the motor and tranny back in but i just got to looking at the shifter and lining it up with the botl holes 2 questions to those who may know orhave links.

1-only holes that line up are the one closes to back seat the other 2 r to big and wont work with orginal bolts so do i drill holes or just use biggerbolts do uthink it willbe k?

2-the shifter seems like it will hit the ebreak if i have it in revers was wondering if any one else has this problem with it and how do i get it o work correctly?

1.you sure you got the right shifter? so it sounds like the front ones line up too, but the holes on the shifter are to big and the bolt heads would be small enough to go through the holes. thats what i'm getting from your story, am i correct? simple solution to that is get some bigger washers.

2. it seems like it? have you tried it? put it in reverse and see if it actually hits. not trying to be a jackass here, but you kinda walked into this one

lol its cables arnt hoooked up to the shifter yet but i know while the shifter is in there and i play with it and judge about reverse would be it would hit it.and no the the bolt heads are to small as in the shifter plate has for bolt holes i have washers on all 4 holes but the front 2 wholes under the cd player kidna r to big for the botls to screw into.
