After the blinkers have been cleared...

After the blinkers have been cleared, what bulbs do I use? The one's I have in, "stock" flash white, and I need them to flash amber. Any ideas? I have also heard of a bulb that has a silver appearance, but still flashes amber. Help!

Re: After the blinkers have been cleared...

www.autolumination.com

great site for led's and bulbs.

http://autolumination.com/titaniumseries.htm

This post here is for side markers, not turn signals, sorry for the mis-understanding, but I will keep this here for those that would like to know what bulb can be used for: side markers, dome lights and those little bulbs in the headlights
thats the chrome but will illuminate amber, you want the "194 = W5W 147 152 158 159 161 168 ......." which is half way down the page, as the bulb you are replacing is a 168.

You can check the rest of the site for any other 168 replacement bulbs, there is a lot of variety.

Uhh, 194 is wrong for the blinker. That's the parking light.

Re: After the blinkers have been cleared...

turn signal is 7440 if i remember correctly.

if you need to get them glowing amber fast you can run to autozone. they do not sell the bulbs but they have amber caps. it looks like shyt but it'll give you time to order LEDs or amber bulbs.

Re: After the blinkers have been cleared...

But I heard if you put in LED's in the blinker, it will blink faster so you need a resistor or something?

Re: After the blinkers have been cleared...

i purchased these...

http://www.racinglab.com/pimior11libu.html (not sure if this link is to the correct bulb size, but PIAA makes them 7440)

yeah i know, a bit pricey, but they'll do the trick..

****, oops, if its for the 194 bulbs then disregard..but at least you know they make these for turn signals..
