Damn. This is unfortunate.

Prior to incident:
1. My front bumper is trash. its a body kit that was on before i got the car. i have been debating changing it to stock and adding a lip but seeing is at i was financially challenged i kept pushing it back. so since i have purchased the vehicle i have wanted to fix the bumper but it wasn't that bad that i had to with the circumstances.
2. My side skirt has been clipped on my passenger side and has cracked up jsut near the edge. not much dmg. but the driver side is fine.these are molded in. i have wanted to fix this since i have done it. but havn't really needed it once again.
3. my back bumper only had a small crack on driver side. and is also molded in and the crack gave an impression of wanted to follow through the molded but it never did.

So the incident. i was helping a family member today. and its freaking freezing. i had just got off work and i was exxhuasted since i had been in since 7. anyways. we go to get cofee and i havn't been in this area before. and blah blah blah i start going one way, my family member tells me to go other and i had to reversing. while reversing i hit a curb which pushed my bumper up on passenger side and breaks the mold only along that side.

So....... After incident. Now part of my rear passenger bumper is out. it only broke the seam. the mold in the back is still there. What should i do? Should i go to a body shop and just get an estimate of what it would cost to mold the bumper and fix the side skirt and get a stock bumper? or should i tear the back bumper off( the right way of course) and then gt a stcok rear and front bumper and install myself and forget about the side skirt?

please help. All help greatly apreciated.

i will have pictures tomorrow.

Re: Damn. This is unfortunate.

honestly I would do it the right way, and put all stock body parts back on the car. Plus it'll be easier to sell it, and I guarantee people will look at it as a classier car. No point in fixing the molding when the whole kit is trashed anyway IMO. I mean it'd be like just putting a big band-aid on a problem.

just my .02
