Re: Tail light TINT

Do you mean VHT Nite Shade?
I dont know if I want to permanently tint the tails though.
That's why I was wondering about the tint film.

well...from this ebay link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...Q5fAccessories
They are saying that it is a film, so Im guessing you apply it with some sort of chemical or water that is provided.

I was thinking about this also.
I was thinking maybe there were brighter aftermarket bulbs or something to compensate?

Re: Tail light TINT

you could buy the tail lights that come with it on there so when you want it on you can have it and when you dont you can have stock or whatever you want it might be a little better just search black tail lights or tinted tail lights maybe even blacked out tail lights

i would go the Lamin-X route. great stuff imo. i used it on my foggies and turn signals. very easy to install and lasts very long as long as you condition the stuff from what i have read.

In GA if ya get rear ended it's thear fault for following to close. So if ya really needed a new bumper this stuff works great.

Re: Tail light TINT

VHT Nite Shades is the way to go, you control the darkness and it's only about 15 bucks. And it looks perfectly smooth, with most of film you can see lines... And it comes off with just rubbing alcohol.
I got my car inspected and they wouldn't pass my lights, so i took my car home spent half an hour taking the tint off, passed safety, and they were tinted again that day.

The light shines through just fine even in the sunlight. And there is still the light in your rear window so I don't think anyone would get rear ended specifically because of their tail lights.

PM me with any questions, I have tinted about 100 lights so I know what works and stuff.

Re: Tail light TINT

yea i actually had those on bought it on ebay rather then paying ...amount of dollars on the spray worked pretty good i had those on my 5th gen black prelude had alot of compliment from them, and i only payed 10dollar last time i checked, even speeding on the highway or if it's raining they are still on and not loose or falling off.. i dont know where fezz_tec got his done at but i just did the installation on my own and they've stayed on ever since hence...i do drive from anywhere 60-110 on highway when there's no traffic i know i know and they have not fell me yet it just gets boring when you see people having it done on their car also now thats when it gets annoying so i just took mine off tho
