Icon11 Best struts for the money?

Me and my wife are thinking about getting new struts, since we noticed the car is very bumpy on the roads. What do you guys think? I'm a newbie here any help would be appreciated greatly. Also the car moves to the right when moving at faster speeds. Should we get an inlinement or check the routers, bent tires, etc... Also, any information on general maintenance would be great.. This is a 97 prelude 2.2 v-tech automatic.
Anyone have any problems with programming or there pc's let me know I'm good at this. thanks.

Re: Best struts for the money?

If it feels stiff as it goes over the bumps then the struts/shocks are fine. But if it has a slow rebound and kinda floats about after the bump then the struts/shocks are bad.

The car moving to the right sounds like an alignment issue. Most shops do those.

Re: Best struts for the money?

Hey thanks for your reply. I really appreciate your time. It currently has 130000 miles on it. What struts do you think I need. Should I buy springs as well. Any idea what is needed to change the struts.

Thanks

Re: Best struts for the money?

x2. check tire pressure and if it is not way off on 1 side than you more than likely need an alignment

as for the struts/shock. i am selling a set of KYB AGX 4 way adjustable shocks w/ less thank 1500 miles on them. let me know if you are interested.
