The most I got was right around 330 and that was with me shifting at about 2500-3000, I drove the speed limit at all time.

15.9 (tank size) x (my best mpg) 34 = 540.6

did that on the way to texas from colorado. Had a slight tailwind, obviously all highway driving. Def possible.

Re: is it possible..

how can the tank be 15.9 gallons?
we had to drain my tank when i had the bad gas in my car and literally there was nothing left. nothing at all shot from the fuel line, no gas to even crank, i blew out the fuel rail with an air hose even because of the water. there was ZERO gas. and when we filled up i had a bill for 13.6 gallons?
the book says it's like a 16 gallon tank like you say. so than why does a bone dry prelude take 13.5 gallons?!

I believe the end result is due to the "floater" in the tank that measures the gas level. So that takes up space. I could be wrong though.

Also, has anyone driven cross country in their lude (22 or 23)? What kind of gas mileage did you get?

I'm lookin to take a trip cross country (H23a1) and was tryin to figure out how much gas I would need round trip, it was quite expensive, that was when it was $4 a gallon though. Now its half that. I usually get about 300-320 in the city only.

I took my old 92 from ny to va beach. Got me about 420 on the tank. And tell you honestly the engine wasn't healthy. Ate oil like crazy. I was surprised.

Re: is it possible..

I've gotten 370 out of a full tank with mixed highway/city driving. Didn't VTEC or drive it hard one time. 400 should definitely be possible though. I know Blake has pushed 43+ mpg on his H23VTEC so I believe it can be done.

Re: is it possible..

The most I've ever gotten out of a tank was about 415 miles. My fuel light came on and I drove for another hour or so...and when I filled up, the car only took about 14 gallons. Haha. I love my lude.
