Broken Sh!t and New Sh!t

So it was -6 degrees here the other day, so i went out in the am to warm up my lude before work. So, i fired her up and went back inside. I went outside to leave for work about 15 mins later and i look at my baby and notice that ALL OF MY OIL is leaking onto my driveway. So i threw open my door and shut her off immediatly! The snow and ice finally melted yesterday so i had my friend tow me around back to my garage and pushed her inside. When i got her in the garage, I went to jack up the front end so i could get under it, and my fuggin floor jack had no oil in it and it would not lift up the car. So i had to get in the trunk and get out the stupid prelude jack and screw the car up into the air. I looked around for where the leak was comming from, and the only place i saw oil was on the outside of the oil filter. Does anyone know what caused this? I just did a full Mobil 1 oil change like 900 miles ago. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow if I have time.

On a lighter note....my Skunk 2 Catback came in today!! i cannot wait to put that on. Also, my shocker decal and blue leds (for climate control conversion) have arrived! Also my boss got me a Garmin 205W for christmas, so that's pretty tight too!

Expected to arrive in the mail this week: New projector headlights, Hi-Flow cat.

(but my baby is still broken as of right now, so my new parts are a bit irrelevant right now!)

Oil cooler o ring. So common and so dangerous it's not even funny. $5 part and takes 20 minutes to change you just need a 30mm socket

Yup oil cooler o ring it is. I just got mine on friday at my local honda dealership. If was $2.50, and because i have the head off it was soo simple. If you look at the old one it gets crushed and dries out and then just goes.

Re: Broken Sh!t and New Sh!t

i replaced the o-ring and now its perfect again! thank you to everyone for your help with identifying the problem! my old o-ring was broken into 4 pieces! FYI: replacing it is sort of a b!tch because of the oil cooler's location lol...anyway, we are back on the road tearin up the streets! lolll
