Belt or tranny or engine problem? plz help:(

Well this had to happen after i went plowing snow in my lude this winter storm...this is my daily driven car...but recently I notice a low pitch sound as soon as I lift my foot off the pedal in 2nd gear. As the car starts to slow down , then noise becomes louder...kinda like something's rubbing inside any of you guys have had a similar problem?? belt? tranny?

I've tried to park it, put it in neutral and rev upto 3500 RPm...nothing happens ...I can hear it only when the car is in 1st or 2nd gear and I've lifted off the gas and the car's beginning to slow down.

Please help.

Re: Belt or tranny or engine problem? plz help:(

is there any rattle to it or is it for sure a rubbing? I only ask b/c i had a similar problem last week except in 4th and 5th gear...turned out I broke the exhaust mount and it was rattling only at certain resonances from the motor. Put it on a lift and take a look. Or wait till it gets worse so it is easier to troubleshoot.

btw...snowplowing in a prelude.....probably NOT the best idea
