Body kit

I have been trying to find an authentic Mugen BB6 bodykit, but have had no luck. So, I did some searching and found a company called Behrman(costs $2245). They were also known as wise sports. Well they make a kit for the prelude. They list it as BB5, but I have seen the differences between the BB5 and the BB6 and all I noticed was different lower grilles. My question is should I continue to search for an authentic Mugen, go for the Behrman, stay OEM bodykit, or change the OEM bodykit to a Seibon OEM bodykit? Help me decide!

Re: Body kit

Good luc sourcing AND affording the Behrman. he front bumper alone is like $1100 when I considered it for about 3 seconds.
I've only seen one car with it besides the stock photo they have so if you got it, you'd be one of few in North America rolling around with it.

Re: Body kit

Agree with both of them ^^^

As expensive as it is I think it would be worth it. People spend so much on shiitty body kits, and wings, and low grade paint, and other bullshiit, I think it would be money well spent on a very very nice kit. Just make sure you take care of it. Plus if they're that rare, well then you can be one of the few who's got it.

Good luck in your decision.

Re: Body kit

That is pretty much an investment in the form of a rare body kit. I'd say get it, because it looks real nice and clean. If you do eventually find an authentic Mugen kit down the road, you can sell this *rare* one for a butt-ton of money and get the Mugen.

Slap a Mugen emblem on a fake kit. They're both fiberglass.

Yeah for real. Unless you drive on near perfect roads every day and have good luck I doubt it would work. I would still try it though, since I'm stupid.

Re: Body kit

After about a year looking myself, give up on the Mugen. They are discontinued and very hard to find. Only thing you will find are replicas. I myself have decided on OEM from H&A.

Re: Body kit

I already have the OEM bodykit as my avatar shows. The Mugen is just way too hard to find. The Seibon is just an OEM replacement. But, the Behrman is a full replacement. Hard decision; I like the look of the Mugen better, and I am a fan of carbon fiber; but the CF clashes with the blue. I am going to try to contact Behrman to see if they have any available.

I think that you should go with the carbon fiber.. Its good weight reduction and it holds up very well to getting beat up on or so in my observations of it..
