Re: Headlight question

if you are wanting to buy aftermarket headlights than just go with the depos, stay away from the aftermarket projectors. if you want projectors save up and get yours retrofitted.

Depo's on Ebay

Re: Headlight question

the aftermarket projectors require H1 bulbs only. the H1 HID kit will work. but a REAL HID bulb (D2S, D2R) WILL NOT work.

Re: Headlight question

also.... HIDs in ebay-like projectors have poor light output and glare all over the place. Most of those projectors are designed to be used with a halogen bulb. best bet would be a retrofit

Re: Headlight question

I've got HIDs in the stock headlights and never hear complaints about them being blinding, although I know they are bright as ****.. haha. I agree with 1BadBB6 tho the depo headlights are the best aftermarket ones out there..

Re: Headlight question

Depos are cool and all, with the black housing on some...but if you want projectors...talk to Brian..and get a TSX or E46 retro. Theyre amazing. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

Re: Headlight question

The people have spoken. Retrofits are definitely the way to go. I had someone send me a pair of the ebay projector lights back when they first came out, and of course I tested them out before swapping out the projectors with real HID projectors. I'd have to say, the light output was decent, but not as good as regular HID projectors
