I think I'm missing something

So i own a 99 SH Prelude that light crystall blue
My friend also has a 99 Sh Pearl white
He has black plastic under body front around the sides and rear
I on the other hand have a mathching painted affect on my sides and the rear
but its not the Honda lip kit add on you could get
its says honda on them.. but theres nothing on my front
so yes my sides and rear is lower then my front oi
Anyone have some in-site was a One owner
no accidents and there are no wholes drilled in front
so nothing was ever on it, i know the lip kit has holes you have to drill
he had the Window sticker nothing mention

I would post pics but my camera was stolen in my civic when someone stole
My deck Ipod 2 amps EQ 1 12 Rear speakers tweets shift knob vtec controller(cut the wires) and..... a candy bar... haha
in a movie theater parking lot... and yes i had An alarm that went off i was givin a noise ticket... that they cancled later after i filed a theft report.
in other words ticket was given to the thief.

[QUOTE=AoK303;213477] i know the lip kit has holes you have to drill
QUOTE]

Honda is pretty cool about making bumpers. Every honda i have owned /worked on has had pre drilled holes/slots so that you can easily add a stock lip. Also if your talking about the lip it has pre drilled holes.

Aftermarket bumper?!!!!?!!!? Possably/maybe

Re: I think I'm missing something

the holes are on the bottm of the bumper, plus the only front lip that i know of that uses those holes is the GReddy, both the wings west and oem optional front lip just sit on the front of the bumper so to speak. then you put screws in the fenderwell part.

no they dont, the only holes that the oem front lip uses are the ones in the fenderwell, to make the lip hug the front of the car. i had one, i know.

I used 3M double sided tape for my GReddy lip. It was a bitch to get it off, that **** is sticky.

Re: I think I'm missing something

His is a SH and dosent have painted under Lip he works for honda has since 00 its how he got a good deal on his and how i've been back checking this confusion
he checked out the atts for me befor i bought it for i have never delt with the atts befor

I looked in wheel well i didnt see the stock mounts for an SH lip or any holes or mounting marks just honda markings to show bumper model...
but yes what we are talking bout is i dont have a front lip but the rest of the car does have an SH looking lip from honda, it really is weird i guess im just gonna have to order one paint and put it on so my front will be lower or even with the rest of my body flow man its like having a girl that wears heals on backwards

thanks for all the insite ive only had problems with one other honda body that was stock that had different honda accents then the rest but it was a Jspec 90 crx with glass roof

this is my first lude
but 12 Honda
So i know how honda normally does factory lip up grades and stock modifications
Even my last Civic was transformed into a RHD b16 4dr fiero
a model that never saw North America sales

its why i was askin if anyone else has ever run into this kinda thing

Re: I think I'm missing something

you are still confused man, the SH's and base models came with a standard side skirt and rear lip and no front lip. the only difference between the SH and the base is that the SH came painted. there is an optional upgrade full lip kit for both models. this upgrade consists of a front lip and more aggressive side skirts and rear lip.
