Headlight Trouble!!!!

I was attempting to change my headlight bulb, and the retaining clip fell into the headlight unit...Now my first question is Honda tells me that they dont sell the clips individually, and that I would have to buy the whole headlight unit for $365 I really find it hard to believe that...So does anybody know where I can get a retaining clip??? My last bet is to take out the headlight unit and shake the old clip out(hopefully that attempt works)...Which brings me to my last question...How the hell does the headlights come out??? It looks to be that the fender and bumper have to come off...Anybody with experience in taking out the headlights, information as to how will be great...And as to how difficult, and time consuming it may be...Thanks guys, answer back ASAP....

Re: Headlight Trouble!!!!

if you can find a junkyard with your car, you can prolly get the clips for like 50 cents.

to take the headlights out, you gotta take the bumper off, then the bumper support. don't gotta touch the fenders.

Re: Headlight Trouble!!!!

Don't hafta remove the support, but it does help.

Go down to the shop and buy a small magnet. Stick a paperclip (or something else long and skinny and ductile) to it and put it in your headlight. That should be able to get it out.
