Re: is there a difference between base & sh type cat?

Because of the already 'size' difference, the tesy pipe probably does have to match up to the existing one as far as the length, just a guess though

According to Honda the catalytic converter is the same from the SH to the Base - so my assumption would be that they are in fact the same length and...well....exactly the same in every way, lol

the only difference on the base and sh is that the downpipe is about 3 inches longer to clear the atts before the flex pipe

well not too sure I think its more of the connector pipe/ or downpipe? You know that pipe that connects the header to the CAT. I think that pipe is shorter on the base models I could be wrong though

Re: is there a difference between base & sh type cat?

Yeah I just change the wording and it makes me look like I know what I'm talking about

ha ha, I actually bought a test pipe not too long ago on eBay really cheap. I was going to post it back up on eBay but my CAT is failing and I am just going to install the test pipe long enough so I can take the old CAT and sell on Ebay for salvage and earn money for my new Hi Flo.

Re: is there a difference between base & sh type cat?

You get like $75 a cat I think - depending on how hollow/beat up it is

Take it to a Midas or something, they might still be buying them

yea - this was actually made for me about 3 months ago but I never used it because they also made me that really cool one in front of the big purple bird - I just found this one randomly, lol, I might have to figure out who did to have them re do it but now with the new rims
