KBB is not a great source to determine the value of a car. Someone's definition of "Excellent" is probably not everyone elses. If this 98' was "Excellent" with that many miles, he would definitely have an actual picture of his car and would not be so shady about selling it. Try Edmunds.com and use their True Market Value (TMV) tool and plug in the info but put the car in good or fair condition. That will be about your best bet to see what it is actually worth. So, if it were me, i would not count on this one until i saw it in person. It has overpriced written all over it.
