Icon5 Weird vibrating...????

I drive a 2001 auto prelude. When I start the car put it into D4 or if I move it into tiptronic mode as soon as i touch the accelerator it makes a weird vibrating noise and feeling throughout the car far about 2 seconds. Its only when I start the car and touch the accelerator for the first time. Just wondering what it could be. I bought this car on October 12th with 47,000 KM's on it. It had an inspection done by two good friends that both work at Honda. Worked their all their life. Also just got a new oil change. You guys got any ideas of what it could be?

Re: Weird vibrating...????

I'd put my money on a tune up.

It could be numerous problems, but that being the most obvious and common. Change your plugs and wires, and get back to us plus you may be due for it anyway.

That is a normal thing. My 98 does it as well. I think it has something to do with the fuel pump priming itself. Mine does it just like yours. Usually first thing in the morning, or after it has been sitting for a few hours.

You have nothing to worry about.

Later !!!
