New Catalytic Converter

Alright so I'm lookin to get a magnaflow cat... I'm searching arund on ebay for preferably a direct bolt on one (2.5") as I'd like to just throw it on my self in a few weeks without much hassle... however if need be I'll go universal but I want one that has O2 bung already. There's a few different part numbers and dimensions in the 2.5" in/out size. I don't know the length/width of the stock converter off the top of my head so I want to make sure I order one that will fit up there nice

Yeah.. I'm lazy. It's dark, cold and I'm not goin outside right now to crawl under the car with a tape haha.

Re: New Catalytic Converter

hmph, i went and looked a bunch of places online for specs, and I can't seem to find them.

I'm *pretty* sure the OEM length is either 15.875" or 13".
dunno about the width though.

Re: New Catalytic Converter

So I noticed one of the stores on ebay had some good deals on magnaflow cats except for 5th gen. I went to Magnaflow, got part # for direct bolt on cat for my car and gave the seller a call and they are pickin one up and sending it on its way.. simple as that. great and friendly service... dotcomparts.

just needa go buy some bolts and gaskets which isn't a big deal

Re: New Catalytic Converter

You might be able to use your stock gasket depending on it's condition.

But yeah, the one I got comming is for 97-01 lude anyways.. or at least they BETTER send the right one.
