Re: 5thy trans help

the auto's are a bit different,
obviously you use ATF (automatic transmission fluid)
and i use MTF (manual Transmission Fulid)

i knwo the method of checking the fluid level is different (as to why beats me)
i know it's clearly leaking MTF, and theres only so much you can see from under a car so....

Re: 5thy trans help

It's either the MTF resivoir or like, the transmission.

It should be pretty easy to see where it's coming from, pop your hood and if there's MTF all over the inside of the hood, you're in trouble, otherwise, you just have to look really close.

Axle seal?

Mine leaked from #15 in this pic.

Best thing to do. Go clean it all off and drive it just for a bit then get under it and start looking for where it's coming from.

Only you will be able to correctly diagnosis it I hate to say. Otherwise you will have to pay for someone to do so.
