Hot smell after WOT

Hey all,

I was driving around last night, and I decided to give it some juice with some WOT for fun. Went through first and bout to 6k in 2nd then hit the speed limit and just kinda did some normal driving till home (about 2 blocks).

When I rolled down my window to open the gate, I smelt a burning-ish smell coming from (presumably) my car. I popped the hood, but I couldn't locate the source of the smell.

Thoughts?

Sorry for the lack of info, but that's all I have.

Thanks in advance.

honestly could be a lot.

Check your coolant. usually when your low on coolant you get a nasty burnt coolant smell. also, if your low on oil, you'll get another unusual smell. If you have a hole in your exhaust, you'll have an unusual smell.

Any other things that maybe could help us diagnose your problem??? Those are all things that are WOT related (and sometimes not even WOT) and I've had all those with my cars.

Start it up, see if you can hear a hole in your exhaust, check all your fluid levels.

^ I have a similar problem... I think I might have a slight leak around the flex pipe...
