Re: is this raised?

Thats supposed to be by owner. I'm not planning on buying from a dealer at all, South Florida dealers = no go. Alotta small dealers do cheap fixes to get the car to work and pawn it off on someone.. I think it might be a mechanic because it's in a warehouse area, alotta people put mechanic shops in them.. I'm gonna try to bring my uncle since he's a mechanic, he'd know what to look for. I don't want those rims(ugly) so I'm gonna offer $4000 cash, not like I can go over anyways :P

Edit: If anyone has a unlimited amount of carfaxes they can view, can someone pull the VIN up and see if its salvaged or anything? I'd really appreciate it. Trying to save a dime anywhere I can ;)

Re: is this raised?

Well do this ... and believe me it works ...

Walk up ... talk to the guy and pick out little **** thats wrong with it. headlight cracked blah blah blah oil leak .. whatever ...

after finding out if this is, or is not, the car for you, then its time to negotiate numbers. beat him down and down till you get him to his lowest, where he wont move anymore. if this is still above 4000, but its somewhat near it ... say this

"well, how about, I give you 4 GRAND cash right now"

and just whip out the whole stack of money preferably 20's and 100's. If he refuses then obviously money doesnt effect him like it effects normal people. Always remember "money talks"

You pull out a fat stack of 20's and 100's he will sit there in awe. 100's are a good eye catcher, and 20's are a great filler. Have 1.5k in 100's and the rest in 20's. Go the the bank and get all new fresh 20's that are all colorful too. It'll look better

i like that color alot. and if the body is in good shape and the engine runs strong i would say that is about right on the price

I paid 8500$ CND for mine it was a 1998 with 56 xxx Kms on it. Also know that prelude here go for alot more like min 10 grand for a high km, the cars value if I was to resell it now would be in the 17 000$ region.
