Re: short shifter

I read somewhere that dc shifter adapter isnt good at all. If you got a receipt or bought it from somewhere close I would go return that shiit.

Anything that Si Speed writes good about, usually is good.

Re: short shifter

give me a minute, I'll take a look around.

*EDIT*
Here... took me 30 seconds ...

you can order one from the website when it becomes available (i guess they are in high demand) just by clicking the link there, and I'll take a look around later when I get home.

Re: short shifter

Don't know if you've read about them already, but the short shifter adapter changes the location of the shifter cable to be a little higher... Therefore the throw of your shift is about an inch shorter... but the knob height stays the same. It requires more effort to shift (nothing worth complaing about). I have a similar one and it works just fine... but it has nowhere near the adjustability of a forbidden

Re: short shifter

As far as I know they're not yet available for the fifth gen. A fourth gen one can be modified to fit though.

Re: short shifter

i also have the dc adapter and am quite happy with it. the thing i find with short shifters that replace the whole unit, is that they can take out too much of the shift and make it less fun to drive, just my .02.
