Re: fuel filter help

Jack the car up and attack it from the bottom!!!!!!

Worked for me,

Try spraying degreaser on the bottom bolt over the course of a few days and try it again. It will still take some muscle, but it's do-able.

Re: fuel filter help

when i tried changing mine i unhooked the fuel line from the bottom and pulled the line from the top so that the fuel filter would come up then i took it off :D at first i thought it was stripped but realized it was easier from the bottom to unhook it

Re: fuel filter help

i don't know what y'all are talking about. i didn't have a single problem going from the top. i guess you just have to have the right wrench. matter of fact, i tried it from the bottom and couldn't do it.

Re: fuel filter help

Drew, you were lucky, everyone I know who's changed it had a good bit of trouble with that bottom bolt.
