squeaky noise frm 98 lude( in engine bay)

This is the 2nd time it has happened in two days...left the car ovrnight and upon startup( while the car cranks up for a split sec) a squeaky noise comes up...just for a
split sec. it's gone soon after. It has to be the belts..but I'm not sure which one...also this happens only when i start after overnight parking( assuming its cold in mornings) .In the afternoon every thing starts up soomth. The squeaky noise does not arise when the car's running. Any ideas wtf this is???

The timing belt tends to be squeeky sometimes at start up... no real reason, unless you go through a puddle. Nothing to worry about.

I would say if you havn't changed the alternator or the ac/ power steering belt I'd say they could use a new one might fix the problem or maybe they are a bit worn and you can tighten them out a little bit.
