Re: Quick Question

Go to a local autp parts store i.e: Autozone, O'Reilly's, etc... and they have a scan tool that can pull up all of the codes that your engine is throwing

Re: Quick Question

you can either buy a code reader (prolly worth the money if you start seriously modding the car) or take it to autozone/AAP and they'll read it for you w/ their reader.

Re: Quick Question

ok well the thing is the little vacum hose runnin from my egr is unplugged and corked because if its plugged in the car will die at idle once the motor warms up

and it recently gave me the light and now it just turned off today....

and also my car gets like horrible gas mileage when its above half a tank. once its below i get crazy gas mileage, could that just be the sensor not reading right? this is all normal driving too like no vtec at all.

i went 80-90 miles on half a tank, now i have went another 30 miles and its only moved like 1 and a half little line things.

Re: Quick Question

Keep in mind, the gas meters aren't 100% accurate. They're there as an estimated guess. I've noticed in the couple cars I've had that it doesn't always move linearly. I.E. with "half-tank" in my old civic I would be at like 230 miles, but there was no way I was going to go 460 on a tank (at least not with normal conditions).

As for the light, I agree with the others, I'm going to get a code reader in the near future. :-)
