1998 prelude BALL JOINTS

I changed the ball joints of the car may 2008...now I see the left side is greasy ( I can see greese on the outside of the boot) where as the right side is plain...I do not have any driving issues....yet....

So , is it normal to have greese ball joint boots? I got them changed at a midas store...so I'm hoping they know how to fix ludes up....I live right in the heart of downtown toronto ...and the roads here are bumpy cause of useless street car tracks...do these things have any effect on the ball joints???

Ball joints have the boot on them to keep the grease in. Sounds like your right side is in good shape and the left one has a hole or tear. It might ride fine now, but as soon as that grease/lube is gone that ball joint will be shot. Any part of your suspension is going to subject to normal wear and tear and those tracks aren't going to be as nice on your ball joints as a paved freeway would.
