Re: opinion on rims

That car off of cardomain really doesn't look that great. Not saying it isn't nice, but the green with black rims look so-so. I'm with Nick, twokexlv6coupe, on this one, go with silver. Anyways, why do you want to look like someone else's car? Especially when the 2nd post on cardomain under the pics is some guy who says "we have like the same car haha". That lip kit is pretty cool though.

I definantly like the silver better than the black. Bronze might be badass, or maybe a white.

Re: opinion on rims

I think both are good choices (black or silver) It depends on the look you are going for...if you want your wheels to pop then go with silver, if you want your wheels to blend then go with black. Just my .02

EGP + Gold FTMFW!!!! Black is too dark, it looks cool and all, but it doesn't accent the loveliness of our cars color well enough

I agree with most people here. Gold or silver. For some reason I've never really liked black rims on any car.

I like those wheels. I have black wheels on my green prelude and I think they look so sick on my car. But in the end if that's what you want and you think will look good, go for it.

I agree that the car off CD isnt my favorite lude, but I dont think its bad looking.

I think the rims would look great, but neck is most likely right about the color clash (like most other things). I like the black w/ machined lip on a 5g though.

But as far as having the same car as someone else, its pretty damn hard to match another persons car mod for mod. But its nice to have guidelines and goals and know what your shooting for. No one just decides one day like "hmmm I'm just gona buy a set of rims, and a lip kit, throw them on and see how they look"

Re: opinion on rims

Ill give another weight towards not black. I think black wheels have a place on black, white and silver cars. Black wheels are kinda cliche in my book, trendy amongst the wrong crowd if you will. Like Altezza lights, they look good on an Altezza because it was made that way. Then people started putting them on everything. I know a kid that was talking about getting a car, he didnt even know what car and was like "yeah, I'm gonna get some black 18's" You have to fit the wheel to the car. My fiance has a silver 05 civic lx with factory steelies with hub caps. A buddy works at a tires store and got us a set of Foose Speedster wheels with tires for 500 bones. Silver and chrome, not my thing, chrome for that matter, NOT my thing. But it makes the car. It just works! Put'em on in the summer and its like she got a whole new car. Search around until you find that wheel that when you picture it on your car it just pops. Then if you like it you buy it and be happy regaurdless of what others think. Here's mine:

Some people like them others don't. But they set the car apart from the other ludes in my area. 3 of the half dozen or so are red. Mine stands apart. I guess this is getting too deep for some people but I'm kinda particular with wheel design. I saw a pic of Necks car with his gunmetal tenzo wheels and went "WTF?!" his wheels make the appearance of the car. They are very important to your cars style. Don't follow what's cool right now. Find what is made for your car.

Re: opinion on rims

I would go with gold or bronze too with that color car, IMO.

strange for me to suggest that as I would go with black on my car but the color of it is black.

p.s. don't go by my sig as those wheels were loaners, off my brother's RSX type S (tenzo R's) I have the stock blades back on.
