Trouble Installing Mugen Sports Pedal Kit on a 5th Gen

So I bought the Mugen Sports Pedal Kit this weekend and it arrived today. The clutch and break went pedals went on with ease. No problem and damn they really do feel much nicer when shifting and breaking. The problem is the gas pedal. The dirrections are in Japanese. I have four screws, four bolts and 2 brackets. From the dirrections it almost seems like I need to use the screws to drill in the pedal. I removed the plastic/rubber piece from the pedal because with the length of the bolts and the brackets they wouldn't have been long enough to reach with it on.

Has anyone here installed this kit on their 5th gen?

Here's a picture of the kit:

Yes... and no. I took off the plastic from the gas pedal and made some progress. I think my kit was defective though because only 3 out of four of the holes in the bracket were threaded so I could bolt 1 bracket and bolt the other using only 1 bolt. I discarded the screws. It stayed on for a while but I need both holes to have threads in that 2nd bracket to have it on for good.

Edit: Don't feel bad for bumping an old thread. The moderators much prefer that to new threads!

I have this setup on my car the way I did it was to just drill the screws onto the gas pedal cause the bracket wont hold as good since the gas pedal is to small

Yeah, I figured that's what the screws were for. I just didn't like the idea of screwing it on like that, it seems kind of ghetto.

Yeah i know what you mean thats just the most secure way I found it to be you can always go with another pedal thats chrome thats doesnt need to be screwed in
