This guy is selling a bumper that he says is made by Vis out of ABS. Does anyone know if it is Vis and what it's called? I looked at their website but their pictures really suck and I didn't see it listed there.

Okay, in his pictures it seems like the stock turning signals and the JDM fogs would fit but the R34 bumper pictures on that bodykits website shows the opening below the turning signals to be much bigger. I guess it is a little big too.

Re: Which 5th Gen Bumper is this? Possibly ViS

i dont know for sure but i would venture to guess that the bottom holes will fit both the turn signals and jdm fogs. the upper holes would just be mesh. That is just an assumption though, not really sure.

IMHO, if you are gonna get a kit, the r34 kit is a good way to go. it is very aggressive but that doesnt mean it is instantly rice. it takes a lot to make the car rice. a good clean body kit is very respectable and i say go for it if you like it.

They might fit, but there will be gaps.
Yes, it's the R34 kit. It actually doesn't look that bad on a Lude.

If he wants to put a kit on his car he should be able to. Having a bodykit (especially if it's painted and fitted properly) doesn't automatically mean rice:director:

Go for it mate. Be sure to include all the +/- of different materials, and if possible, how to tell the difference

Re: Which 5th Gen Bumper is this? Possibly ViS

okay... not that he is going "RICE" ... but the others are right.... anything that is fiberglass/ abs is not very strong and able to take daily driven situations. for instance the first time you take you car out on the highway....w/ your fiberglass kit... something just might get cracked ,split, etc. and i know i would be PISSED... honestly a lip kit is a sometimes cheaper and reasonable way to go. they are usually made of very flexible (cant think of the word for it right now) that can handle many an obstacle. if you gonna be strictly show and not take your car out that much.. go for it ...when it is done and done right it would look sick. just my 2cents

Re: Which 5th Gen Bumper is this? Possibly ViS

i dont think its the R34. the R34 doesnt have such a bottom lip. There is another body type that is very similar to the R34 but i cant remember the name.

OEM kit is ABS, as are the factory bumpers.

Ya know this bumper doesn't really look at all like the front end of an actual R-34.
