How to program key

Hey guys:

So I just got my lude about a month ago, and the dude that sold it to me said he ran over his real key (don't ask me how he ran over his key. He gave me the valet key, which starts the car fine and everything, it just won't open the trunk / fold the seat down. I went online and got a keyless entry remote (soooo nice!:rockon:) and a regular key. I got it cut to match my valet key, but I need to program it to match my car. The instructions were pitiful and i don't really know how to program the key (not the remote).

Do I have to just hit up a dealer?

As far as I know yes you do, they'll reprogram both keys so that they can both start'er up. Cost I got no idea about, but you can bet it'll be a rip off.

I talked to them a while back (when I first got the car) and they wanted $285 to install the whole immobilizer set with a red key and all this B.S. I'll see what they say now that I have a key and all i need is it coded... who knows...
