Can a shop help

Hey guys i don't have the gear to raise my coilovers..pretty sure they are coilovers by what i have heard from other members here..Possibly stock...maybe not . just for another word though can i get at least another person to say that they are coilovers if they are..i have no ideal to be honest. But if they are i wanna raise them up at a shop..do you think most shops have the knowledge of these or like does anyone know if there is a company that has dealt with them like..pep boys as a example... Please anyone help me on this one..because i really want to know..

Re: Can a shop help

okay so your trying to raise the car.... you have coilovers all over the car im a assuming. you can do it yourself, do you have the "wrench" to turn the plates under the spring? if you do.. spray the threaded part w/ WD40 and let soak for awhile. then use the "wrench" and spin the first plate " locking plate" i think counter clockwise or to the left ...obviously lefty loosey righty tighty ...LOL. make sure you measure how many threads you go down. if you do not have the wrench needed... you can tap... easily w/ a large flathead screwdriver and small hammer. good luck hope it helps.

Re: Can a shop help

the "keys" maybe hard to come by. I MIGHT still have the ones from my old set. i can check tomorrow. If i do, i'll mail em to u free if you just pay shipping. otherwise you can try to stop by a performance/tuner shop and they probly have some they can lend you.

Re: Can a shop help

You can find some Tein adjustable wrenches on ebay. They might work with your coilovers.

Yes, the wrenches are used to adjust the ride height. You use an allen wrench or key or whatever you call them to adjust the dampening.
