PLEASE HELP ..OIL Pressure problem

I changed my oil 2 months ago and I never take the car above 3500rpm( max I musta done is 4000 rpm) Yet in mornings just before I go to work ( If i don't wait for 3 mins for the car to warm up) as soon as I drive it it gives me the oil pressure flash...I have to usually stop the car start it up again and then it comes on and off...this happens occasionally..I need to know what the problem could be...plz help

Re: PLEASE HELP ..OIL Pressure problem

when the light goes on, try going into V-Tec - if it kicks in right at or just after 5000RPM, it's most likely not oil pressure at all, could just be a faulty sensor...

Re: PLEASE HELP ..OIL Pressure problem

well you said on start up... how thick of oil??? 5w30?? how about where you oil pressure signal wire is... they usually get loose and break off the sender... if the wire hits ground...it usually causes the light.
