Re: Idle problem + other crap

Well the difference between the SH to the Base model is mostly the Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS). The wheels, and a couple other items as well.

As for the TPS sensor, not really sure if it will reset if you take it out then back in.

http://www.google.com/products?hl=en...num=1&ct=title

Found this looks like its about $70 plus shipping. You asked about mods, maybe a slightly bigger bore throttle body? It might even come with a TPS on it. Seems you already have a good deal of the bolt on mods. Might suggest a light flywheel. maybe an AEM pulley system. The list can go on and on.

Re: Idle problem + other crap

I chose not to get the SH, just so I didn't have to downgrade it to put on mods. ATTS has its advantages but for what I want to do with my Lude it was better not to have the SH.

Re: Idle problem + other crap

Do a search for some threads about basic mods.... just look through the tech section and your 4th/5th gen forums for lots of h22 mods, brands, suggestions and more.

here are some resources to get you started:

daily driven mods
Bushing and Camber Kit Discussion
Exhaust
OBD I tuning... can't do this with ATTS.... hondata may have an option for OBD II now??
Cam Seal!!!!

yeah, like if you want lots of power at the wheels with a big turbo... the base model is lighter as well, isn't it? I always liked the idea of ATTS, but I like my m2b4 (LSD) an awful lot.

Re: Idle problem + other crap

that might be a little low... stock crossover is in the 5200 range... mine has been tuned to 4800k... if you go too low you will be hitting vtec when you are just trying to cruise around. I rev to 4-4.5K all the time, plenty of torque there and it would be bad to be going in and out of vtec like crazy... I gained about 10 ft-lb trough the power band with my eCtune, so I am loving that extra pull down low... makes we wonder what it might be like with a type s intake... surely they will fit on a 4th gen, right?

Re: Idle problem + other crap

lol, I don't think it would hurt it, would just make it more awkward to drive... if you lower it to 4.5-4.8K, it is easy as heck to stay in vtec (if you take it to 7K+), but it you drop more it will just be frustrating as you will go in and out of vtec all the time unless you are driving pretty conservatively... h22s can be pretty spunky before vtec kicks... and then they get a little quick.
