long start up

well i noticed when my car is low on gas it will take some time to start up. does this happen to any one else?

nope never had that problem..my car starts up with a 2 second twist..that is how i start mine at least..twist it for 2 seconds if it comes on it does if not..next time it will..but prevents you from over cranking the starter.

Along the lines of the problem could be a lot of things..but have you checked ur sparks yet?

Change your fuel filter and drop in some cleaner for the gas (sea foam or some crap)... If that doesn't work check your fuel pump

EDIT- next time your low on gas you can try this little test... Turn your key but DONT CRANK THE MOTOR! let the fuel pump charge the system for about 5 seconds then crank the motor. If it starts fine that indicates clog in the fuel line (probably filter) or poor fuel pump or both ha... but just give it a try let me know what happens

It cant be is spark plugs if its only happening when hes low on jet fuel...... If it was happening at all levels in the tank then yes plugs could be the culprat
