oem lip kit

i was just wondering whats the difference between a lip kit purchased on ebay, rather than a lipkit thats made directly from honda? i know honda would be the better buy.. but its also waay more expensive. does the ebay one fit differently?

Re: oem lip kit

Yeah the ones from honda are made from poly urathane. and the ones on eBay are made of fiberglass, again its one of those things where you get what you pay for. Plus the ones on eBay not sure but they might have a few fitting issues and need a little bit of body work.

If you have a factory colored Prelude you can look up H&A and order your OEM Lip color matched. I would say you save your money on body work and you'll probably be at the same price once its all over and done if you were to buy the eBay lip.

Ya it is a good way to do it..only buy parts that are certified from honda beyond that you are taking a risk...

Re: oem lip kit

The fibreglass ones never fit right. I've got them on my car, and the fitment still annoys me, nearly 2 years later.

Re: oem lip kit

The front and sides are sold out on H&A. You can only get the rear lip.
Oh and more than likely not in a color that matches your lude.
