Re: Finding O2 Sensor

As far as tha 02 sensors u mention, i know there's one on the header & catalytic converter, ni'm assuming u mean those? If you have a 'mechanical' oil gauge, pick up a oil adapter thread with a bspt threading to go in the block. Run tha oil line from the gauge to one of the T's. Put the oil pressure sender in the other. Hook up the 12v & ground, then you should be good to go

Re: Finding O2 Sensor

ok is there a DiY on this...i looked but everything is mixed up between the generations..so kinda got fustrated. Is there a picture of where the Sensors are? I feel like a man lost in the desert lookin for water..even jacked the car up trying to find it lol..tried looking in the manaul but it doesn't say...

Also kinda curious..i seen a M.A.P on my intake and another Denso on my cruise...i am guessing speed for cruise and M.A.P for adjusting intake?

Is that Right?

Re: Finding O2 Sensor

its not that hard, there's only one sensor hooked up to the header and cat, and guess what: they're the o2 sensors.
its literally on the top of the cat, and prolly under the heat shield on the header.

if it's a mechanical gauge, do what derek said. if its electrical, it shoulda came w/ the oil pressure sensor, but your still gonna need the adapter that he mentioned, found here.

but since i've heard numerous horror stories about that adapter breaking off from the weight of the oil press sensor hanging off of it when the engine rev's, i'd recommend getting the firewall kit to relocate the fitting and sensor so its not hanging off the block and risk breaking it off.

Re: Finding O2 Sensor

good info, I'd do what twokexlv6coupe says. I'm not a gauge slut, but I guess I will be once I go FI.
