The ones with leather interior do.

It was an option on all base and SH except I think the JDM type-s came standard with the black leather red stich.

I don't think that was his question I think he meant. Would a SH more likely have leather interior as it was an option or did any of the base models have even an option to have it.

Re: interior question

It wasn't an option at all. The Type-S Had it, but unless I'm mistaken, anything besides the Type-S is aftermarket.

Re: interior question

You're mistaken. The Type S had a half/half leather/cloth interior.

On all other specs leather was an option you could specify when you bought the car with it, like automatic transmission for example.

Re: interior question

Some people don't like leather. My mother for instance. I can ask the same question of just about anything...why are there so few ATTS Preludes on Aussie roads? Why was it that there are plenty of EBP Preludes around, but not many EGP ones, when the colours ran the same number of years? (IF not the same years)

People buying cars brand new are a wierd mob, and often do things that subsequent owners can't fathom. Like mine for instance, it was optioned up with everything available (leather, premium sound, premium alarm, etc) but they left off the two things that I really would've wanted (the OEM bodykit and a manual trans)

It's all down to personal preferance at the time.

ALso, some had leather retrofitted at a later date at dealer level. A friend's car was retrimmed by the dealer in an attempt to get more for it as a second hand car.

Re: interior question

lol..that might be one thing people think about when chosing between cloth and leather, plus i am pretty sure that cloth out lives leather. along the lines of Sun damage/wear and tear of getting in/out alot/and doesn't leather have a problem if it gets wet then drys?

Re: interior question

There are a lot of reasons for the choice. A friend of mine when looking he absolutly HAD to have leather. Like I said, my mother hates it. Personally I'm not fussed either way.

Is that you Jas?

Re: interior question

I don't think you can get any cooler than black leather. When my funding issues go away, I'm definitely opting for some leather. Yummy.
