Need help asap!!!!!!!

i was working on my 97 prelude doing front brakes and replacing a headlight so i had the bumper off, and i had both door panels off because i was cleaning them and the plastic around the window switchs and door handles and when i put it all back together the passenger window dosent work, my automatic locks are acting up and wont lock and my SRS light is on so i checked all the fuses for all 3, the SRS, the locks, and the windows and all are good so all i can say is WTF, any idea's from anyone?????? i could really use some help on this one i hate seeing my lude ripped apart.

Well the SRS system might have something to do with when you took the bumper off, Pinched wire?... As for your locks and window since you had your door panels off maybe the same deal perhaps you pinched a wire of some sort?

These problems didnt happen untill you did the work so go back recheck things such as wires and reset everything my disconnecting the battery for about 4-5 minutes.... just make sure everything is back in place and you didnt be pinch or tear any wires..

You have to be carfull when you put things back together.... Good luck man i hope this helps... really you just need to back track...

The exact same thing happened to me with my accord...

I can't remember exactly what it was but I remember it was something I had just forgotten about... check ALL of the connections that you took apart. Also check ALL of the fuses as well. Under the hood and inside (not just the ones that make sense)

If i remember what it was when it happened to me, ill let you know.

check the connector to your doors, maybe a pin came out. as far as the SRS, did you take the seats out?

no, just the front bumper and the door panels. also the automatic lock works for unlocking but when i try to lock it the passenger door lock trys to lock but its like the lock is seized up or something i can't figure it out, i have both door panels off with all the controls off the panels and hooked up to the wiring but that dosent seem to change a thing. tomorrow ill go over the wiring again but i checked it all and didnt find a thing, but checking it again seems to be my only option, if anyone thinks of anything else let me know, thanks again.

make sure the lock itself was reassembled properly. sounds like something may be blocking it. try to unlock the passenger door manually with the key also and see if you are getting abnormal resistance. you will probably have to take the door panel back off but start by removing just the door handle part so you can take a look around.

The SRS light should also be throwing a code, you can have it checked for free at Autozone. tell us what the code is and we can help. did you try reseting the ECU? just pull the ECU fuse (under the hood) for about 2-3 minutes. it may reset the light for you.

do the brakes work at least?

IT'S THE CHILD LOCKS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR PANEL !!!

I cannot tell you HOW many times I have overlooked that stupid switch. Everytime you disconnect it from the door panel connector it automatically switches the locks to the "locked" position.

Check that ASAP

lol, yes sir there is. It's the window lock switch that prevents the windows from being rolled down. It's that long skinny switch right.

And if you were just kidding and already knew about it...well...

My brother alighned the rubber piece along the window so it would go up smoothly on my moms accord and when he put the panel back on it also wouldnt lock correctly. so now my mom uses the key to lock it. when u lock it from the power lock it goes down half way and pops back up.

autozone says they cant check the srs light do to liability reasons but they let me check it myself but nothing came up from the srs just that my o2 sensors was slow to respond, more great news since i have the abs light on still, the srs light and now i get to see how long it is till my check engine light comes on, YAY.
