Unorthodox Racing Pulley Set

I was looking into the Unorthodox Racing Pulley sets after reading CHILLZ_VTEC's thread on the AEM one's. Will the under drive set compromise the accessory pulley's power? (make A/C or PS less effective)

to what degree do you mean "compromise"? for aem, their pulley kit for the prelude includes the power steering and alternator pulleys. i've had them both on for about 8 years now. the p/s one... not much of a difference, no problems with my p/s ever. the alternator pulley is a different story. it makes your alternator work harder, and in our case, doesn't charge the battery very well. so in the long run, premature alternator and battery failures. imo, the ur set is better in that the ponies are freed up via weight reduction. a small fraction is underdriven. that means longer life on the alternator and battery. this is why i've been wanting to change mine out for ur pulleys... just haven't gotten around to it yet.

yeah man...there are two kind of the UR pulleys though...the SS and the SSc...the SS are the ALT, PS, and CRANK pulleys that will underdrive your engine...The SSc are the pulleys that are OEM diameter, and have dyno proven power up to 10hp...check out their website for a more clear explanation...

the SS ones are under driven....UR states even though they are, its only up to the point before the wear on the electrical system(aem pullies are instant wear on the electrical system)...the SSc are not underdriven and gains in HP are from the weight reduction off the pullies...
