A german customs shop did it to a couple of 4th gens, so I believe it's technically possible, just expensive

"Of the fourth generation Preludes, only some 15 were modified into a convertible by German company Honda-Autohaus Manfred Ernst. No details are known about the engine types and other specifics. Since only 15 were ever made, they are assumed by many to be custom-built."-wikipedia
But there was a company that made convetable and targa top ludes in the 4th gen.

Just need to keep in mind that the roof is an integral part of the car's structure. So if you remove half of it, you will need to put that strength back somewhere else. I agree, it would look fantastic, and be a fun summer car. And with the glass roof in place (like a third gen CRX) it would be a fun winter car as well.

My tool of choice would be a big angle grinder and some chalk, but ok, I'll get you a saw.

Your best bet would be to make it a T-top to preserve the integrity of the roof, but youd still have to reinforce the chassis along the rockers. That would be sick if you can find someone to do it!

uniquie whips- my neghibors went to school with the owner and know him pretty well.
the t-top would be ok but a full targra top would be awesome. if you can look at the structure of the supra and copy that.
